Hi Rani, all information is in Section "After x_linking". Read Valeri's, Jan's and my stories. Normally, the procedure is done in the middle of the day. THe most difficult time is the evening and the night after the procedure, for it starts to hurt one/two hours after. Well, you cann't sleep. Tears fall as hell. Eye is swallen, red. It feels like sand. But it's bearable. One should put antibiotic drops and ointment drops often. A therapeutic lens can be put on the cornea after the procedure but this is not necessary. Painkillers could taken but it is not necessary too. The eye rests inflamed, red, closed, a bit swallen and pretty a lot light sensitive for about 4-5 days, but all these effects gradually disappear as the epithelium grows back. All this is normal. What is not normal I do not know. You make examinations each of 3-5 days post treatment to detect anything out of the said norm. I think the only risk there is the risk of an ocular infection. But you take antibiotics to drastcally lower it. How it goes on when you've got an infection I do not know. I had some white stuff that started to glue my eye on the second day. But it went away as the epithelium was closed. I had it only with one eye. All the best, Y.
