Hello everyone! I'm new here. My name is Alexander, I am from Russia, St. Petersburg.

I read a lot about Mini ARK and I plan to undergo this procedure with Dr. Marco Abbodanza. As far as I was able to find out, this doctor also carried out successful operations, published, even showed him on Italian TV. Strange, but here on the forum I have not read anything about him. I know that his method of treating Keratoconus was even included in the Roman protocol.
Has anyone had surgery?

I am also considering an operation with Dr. Artsybashev. In Russia, more is known about him, and I found many patients who operated on him.
The results are very impressive. If anyone has any questions, ask. Forgive me for the mistakes, English is not my first language.

Alex

Seasons well wishes Alex!

From what I understand, there is a long history between Dr L and Dr A (and I believe it's not a warm one! but I am not sure if things are better currently). Both are members here and many patients have retired away from seeking a solution after being treated.

Even the german forum (where there was a lot of patient stories) was or will soon shut down, however you can find them on facebook groups (they have their own group there).

Your english is more than ok!

With best regards

Sven

Hello! This is about my TG PRK+CXL experience. In the course of a long scientific activity in six months, I chose this particular method of treatment. I say a scientist because a lot of work has been done on the study of articles, methods and approach to the treatment of various doctors. From keratotomy to laser and their varieties.

All perfectly. After the operation, I had an infection in my left eye due to the herpes virus, so the first month I saw them very badly. The right eye saw much better after the operation. During rehabilitation, I lay in the hostel and watched Turkish cartoons while lying on the bed! It was amazing, I saw faces and even the fine print. Of course, with hesitation, but still. I have mild keratoconus, but double vision and ghosts were strong. The doctor said that I had a cyst in front of my eyes - that's why I saw ghosts.

After rehabilitation, now, I can see with my left eye almost perfectly - it had a weak keratoconus. On the right eye, he was stronger, but this is stage 1 in general. I can see very well up close, there are slight distortions on the light sources in the distance, but they practically do not bother.

Doctors say that this is due to the epithelium, it can still change up to a year. There were serious changes in the first 3-4 weeks, now there are practically no fluctuations.

I am very glad that I performed the operation. Doctors in Russia are very skeptical about the combination of TGPRK + crosslinking, very skeptical! But I am glad that I made up my mind and I can recommend this operation to everyone with stage 1-2 of the disease. Of course, consult a doctor, check with another doctor and (!) Consult 3-4 doctors. Do not decide on one opinion - I highly recommend it! This disease is poorly understood.

You see, I'm not afraid and don't be afraid either!
