Topography-guided conductive keratoplasty

Keraflex

Mini Asymmetric Radial Keratotomy (Mini A.R.K) - originated in Italy, also available in England

Diamond Surgery / Artsybashev's technique - exclusively in Hungary

A very good list thank you for posting.

If the eye reshaping drops will be found to be safe and efficient for use in KC eyes, its the best research going on IMO.

I try to edit the post and add additional treatment to the list, but it wouldn't let me.
 I want to add:

Paired arcuate and circular keratotomy - originated in Jordan

So now there are 19 treatment in the list (I added another one in the list before but forgot the change the number)

There are other treatments, I want to add, so if anybody can help me edit the post...

As regarding to the treatments, I'm very excited about:

Laser tissue welding - could be a game changing treatment. Sutures is a horrible way to place a cornea, and so the graft strength isn't of a normal healthy cornea. Also, even years after the transplant, the graft might move and change its location and thus increase the astigmatism and change the prescription. This treatment might allow us to preserve the strength. There are also experimental treatments of endothelial cells regeneration. which could enable us to have the graft almost indefinitely. There are 4 large issues with corneal transplant:

*Corneal stabilization - could be treated with laser tissue welding

*Endothelial cells loss - usually after 15 to 30 year the graft become useless - could be treated with endothelial cells regeneration

*Keratoconus recurrence - somtimes happens after 10 to 20 years - could be avoided or treated with cross-linking

*Graft rejection - possibly by masking the cornea with the patient's own stem cells.

All those 4 combined could make corneal transplant a viable treatment for almost everyone, every stage of Keratoconus, as most complications could be avoided.

Corneal tissue addition is another great treatment. It could theorietially enable us to have treatments such as PRK indefinitely.

It depends on the level and configuration of the KC...however

Circular keratotomy performed with a femtosecond laser + corneal welding > could be a good combination with also CXL used if required to (as a use of two/three [minimal] treatments for added advantages for some cases)
