I got intacts on my left eye a month and half ago, and the one in my right eye a month and one week. My right eye has recovered perfectly and I could see well the day after the surgery. But my left eye is semi-blurry. There is a lot of light glare, aka I see double, and wearing glasses pescription doesn't make me see a whole lot better only slightly. I have read and heard that re overy would take up to 6 months even, but never the leas I am starting to worry that my left eye won't get better.
Has anyone seen or encourtered such an isse before. Please help.
In KC two eyes are very different, and with that in mind the treatment has to be personalized. Also one eye at a time should be done where the first eye has recovered before embarking on treating the other. The surgeon should know this, to do.
However its still early days and you should wait until 6 months...you might not fully recover...as there is no known way for that to occur...but hopefully it will be enough for a smaller prescription.
Hey Megan, I am posting this and it has been 3 months+ now, and there is not the slightest bit of improvement in my left eye. I still see very blurry. I spoke to the doctor and he suggested we take one of the rings out, because there is 2 pieces in there.
