Hi everybody! It is very interesting to have statistic information about KCers, let us try to answer the next questions:

1)what age were you diagnosed with KC?

2) how old are you now?

3) What treatment do you use and what results of this treatment?

I was diagnosed with KC when I was 33 years but I think that I have KC since 16 years .
Now I am 36 years and don't have any treatment, just observation every 6 months and some exercising for vision

1) age 26 2) age 49 3) RGPs for 23 years no medical intervention. T-prk + CXL November 2013. Progressing well.

You mean KC progressing after  CLX?

No. Mean CXL progressing well. It takes time for the corneas to clear up & CXL takes effect over a period of time. Have read there can be improvements up to 5 years post procedure.

But KC may develop for 10-20  or more years and CLX still new method to say about results, it is my opinion.

I get regular pentacams and thickness checks. My astigmatism is now minimal ( cornea steepness) & my right was 392 micron thick before surgery. Now it's 432. So I consider that progressing well.
