My trip to get fitted with Laserfit scleral lenses in Texas

For anyone battling with vision issues or pain and discomfort associated with RPG's you should really consider laserfit sclerals. They are super comfortable and do not sit on your cornea at all. Laserfit lenses are non rotational, so its possible to counter in the optics even the most minute corneal defects.

I recently travelled from to Texas and got fitted with custom scleral lenses which have now solved issues. Believe it or not my vision is now 20/15 or better in both eyes with all aberrations gone. No night vision ghosting, no halos, glare or starbursts. Best of all these lenses are super comfortable I wear them for 16+ hours a day and I can hardly feel them in.

Thanks god I found these guys and their laserfit scleral lenses It really has changed my quality of life. If any one else may be suffering effects of higher order aberrations and want their quality of sight back I really suggest thinking about getting these lenses.

I really hope this helps someone, especially if you cant stand RPG's or they don't give you perfect vision.

Thanks for sharing your Keratoconus story with us. I also had a rough time with various lenses, and especially the discomfort of RGP lenses. After wasting a ton of money trying tons of different lenses, I luckily found the laserfit scleral lenses and got fitted in Texas, since then all issues are gone, they are uber comfortable, can wear them for 15 hours + a day and can hardly feel them in. My vision is now 20/15 or better in both eyes. Best part is they are fitted 100% by computer without using trial lenses. In my opinion anyone with Keratoconus that can get to Texas should check them out. These lenses changed my life."

So it is great to read your corroborating story. I don't have KC but am thinking of this for my son. Can you tell me the cost of all this? i'm guessing my son's insurance won't cover it.
