After cxl?

Hello I had both my eyes cross linked last year, I have seen no improvement in vision, my doc told me that my eyes are improving that they are becoming more flat, I was told before any procedures that I'm not suitable for laser as my cornea is too thin, I'm not happy with my results because my vision is still terrible, I have to wear rgp lenses everyday, can you tell me is there any procedure out there I could get to improve my vision or since my cornea is flattening could I be able for laser in the future? I'm living in Ireland and don't see many options

Are Intacs a possibility you have explored? Are other types of contact lenses possibly more effective at correcting vision than RGP, such as scleral, or hybrids? I'm no expert, just a KC patient's Mom, but I have read about these possibilities.

Darragh, What does your medical team who did your crosslinking treatment say on what may be the right choice for you? You need to get consultantions with those with the know how on the options. You may want to exhast all the avenues in Ireland first. You have an international clinic for KC in your home country which patients from abroad travel to due to their reputation in KC, have you tried the wellington eye clinic in dublin ?

I haven't looked into intact, do you know much about mini ark? I'm living in Ireland and think I'd have to go to Italy to get it done

I agree with Bobby. You need to get consultations with KC experts, preferably in Ireland. All I can add is, from what I have read (a lot), there are a number of options for you beyond cxl.
