hello beth ,

are they polarised? polarised ones cut a lot more glare than the other ones like keeping a paper on the dashboard of your car does not reflect on the windshield , do try it

in india  polarised raybans have not yet been launched , i have in a german  made designerwear of Giordano in which i got the original lenses removed and got polarised lenses from Carl Zeiss fitted  they are plastic lenses

Hi all,

I found some great sun glasses too, that really cut out the glare and are relatively cheap. Sold through direct tv advertising(at least in New Zealand and USA) but also available on the websites eg http://www.as-seen-on-tv-discounts.com/eagle_eyes_extreme.asp

Apparently the technology was developed by Nasa and modeled on the eagles eye. I really do notice a significant difference with glare. They are polarised and have various other anti glare technologies built in(I think Im starting to sound like a tv advertisement for them)

That is amazing... just so fantastic... as I've seen the ads for it on satelite TV over here and have come so close to buying them (they was out of stock, and i forgot to call back, as i was thinking they must be too good to be true) I wanted to know from someone other than the the guys on TV who are happy with them.

A friend of mine who does buy from shopping channels products which seem too good to be true (like amazing car washing products ect) says that he always finds the claims to be true when his brought things. So i was going to buy these sun glasses, thinking about that.

Its the thing that if they are so good why aren't they in the shops? and are the people on the commerical who recommend them actors.

Now i know that these sunglasses do live up to what they say on the commericals... I was going to post about this a long time ago but thought the makers may be playing up the claims, and so wanted to try them first before putting out a message about them.

Will be getting a pair... thanks again Chris!

has anyone tried progressive lenses ( we can get them in tint or transitions ) i am reaching prebyobia with an addition of +0.75dsph , i have ghosting in my right eye at ten o clock position with vision of 20/20 combined with scleral lenses . is it apropriate for me to use progressives (being multifocal will it aggravate my ghosting) or should i go in for a bifocal?

i am still having glare after sclerals

                                ideas please?
