RE: Anyone heard of CK Radiofrequency for Advanced Keratoconus

Hi I am in a pretty similar state as your son, despite that i havent CXLed my best eye since the doctors dont see enough degeneration to "risk" it. (I am 30 years old now and it less likely to progress when you are older)

However it would have been nice to have it CXLed since i woudlnt have to worry then, but that is not an argument that works here yet :)

I think BSCVA is best spectable corrected, BCVA is the best you can get with visual aids both lenses and glasses.

Nice visual gain he got on the better eye. If it is any comfort, it works quite ok to see only with one eye most of the day.

Personally I put in my RGP lens after work to enhance my vision and see with both eyes. This procedure i will have to live with until KXL or something else comes.

Does he get 20/125 with strong cylinder power? Actually I manage to get 50-60% with  strong cylinder power, but my head cant handle it. From what i learned different people can handle different refractive powers.

I recently started to eat some omega-3 suppliments especially design for dry eyes, it actually helps, now when i yawn my tears come again. (They contain both animalic and vegetabilic fatty acids)

Br Henrik
