Hi Zenke,

Did you make a spelling mistake ?

"The good thing i got out of it is, that the RGP fits much better, it does itch half as much and the psychological part that now it wont get worse in that eye."

Did you mean to say:

"The good thing i got out of it is, that the RGP fits much better, it does'nt itch half as much and the psychological part that now it wont get worse in that eye."

What you say about the psychological part is so true, that more patients should be know about it, its a very good feeling to know you have been treated.

Thanks for a great post !

Best Wishes

Hi, sorry I am not english native ( It was my swedish english or something if you translate it directly it sounds ok in swedish, I blame on that ;) thanks for pointing it out), yes I mean that I have decreased problem with itching. ( it is now 5.5 months after cxl ) I think that could be to a smoother KC cone.

Yep the psychological part gives me reason to think about cxling the best eye too, even though the progression is so slow or even isnt there, cause nobody can tell me whether KC can stop for some years and start again.

Thanks everyone for the support and pushing me to get CXL done.

Aug 31st....I got my Right eye CXLed.

1)Aut 25 to 31 (Before procedure): Very nervous
2) During procedure I was relaxed and I was enjoying
3) After procedure got nervous again about upcoming post-op pain
4) Got to the hotel and closed my eeys and its was two hours after the procedure no pain
5) Then slowly tear flow (alot of tear flow) and moderrate pain (nothing that you can't handle)...Did not go to sleep...only took one tylenol 3 ..took sleeping peel but didnt help me sleep...
6) Eyes were not that red not much light sensitivity
7) Next day I was pretty much comfortable and doctor checked it out he said "its healing well"
8) Now thinking about getting the left eye.

It kind of weird the more I keep my eyes closed the more pain it was causing. (opposite of what zenske and Kane were feeling)..I guess it's different from person to person.

Again...
Thank you everyone for helping me get through this. Any person thinking about it I encourange you, but do take doctor's consultation.
