Hello shall go back to work tomorrow, too much to do there, deadlines and stuff. I think i will manage, cause i still have the good eye. Now i notice changes every day, the glares are chaning some days to the better some days to worse, same with haze.
Will be very interesting to see where this ends up :)

Will have a checkup on tuesday dont know it is any use to do orbscan again after just one week.

Yea, let's see how the work goes for you tomorrow. Are you a developer/programmer? I aslo did computer engineering back in '98 but didn't pursue my career in engineering. I work with Oracle products, primarily in the financial reporting field.
How is the redness? Yea Orbscan would be useful at 3 and 6 months milestones.

2 months for me tomorrow. :~)

Hello, on monday it is 2 weeks since xlinking, had first week with sickleave. No all red/pink is gone, i was at a one week followup, but to my disappointment it was not any of the doctors who did the CXL. I think both had some emergency cornea surergy, everything looked fine, the visiontest was according to the doctors a bit worse than before operation, but in my opionen it is better i have less disturbing glares, now i even have one light that actuelly is there the lightsource is :)

I did my CXL as the first on a public hospital so their routines was not 100% set, I mailed and said that an orbscan in a month would be nice. Hopefully they will have time for that, since i also want to check my better eye if it has gotten worse.

This changing of vision from day to day will/can happend for months? I mean one day it is worse than before operation another day it is atleast equal or even better.

For time lines check out these presentations

Presentation Two

Its gets worse before it gets better, just like with any surgery. You must at least wait three months for things to settle down.

Your corneas will be swollen, it will take time.

Thanks for the links, Kane.

Henrik, vision definitley gets better over time. Are you holding off on the lense or have you started using it? Does the lens help with ghosting? It is hard to tell the difference of quality of vision in the 'bad' eye as it is bad to begin with.
My vision is changing..I'm not using glasses anymore. I think the lens prescription is changing as I feel less strain without the glasses than with them.

Good to hear that there was no infection and redness is not there. You have passed the critical time. Now it is all recovery and time is on your side.

Hi, good to hear that it will get better sooner or later, cause the vision is still hazy and bad :(

Yes i feel the RGP helps alot gives some clerer vision in some lighting even better than the best eye give in some sense. Now it is close to 3 weeks since CXL i think will wait one more week with the RGP lens and then try it on and see how it feels.

You should try RGP if the vision is bad with glasses with high cylinder, for me its huge difference, everything got messed up with cyl -6 but with the RGP it is pretty good and i hope it will even better with the RGP after CXL.

I heard even some non KC prefer rgp for crisper vision, nice to know that you can maximize the vision.
